After a long career in Aerospace Engineering, I retired to Central Oregon and started enjoying lapidary activities as a hobby.
I am an inventor and craftsman at heart and enjoy creating unique and often functional items. As I progressed with my lapidary techniques, I found that Gemstone Faceting piqued my interest, and I instantly got hooked.
I’ve read Faceting being described as a cross between Art and Science. After several years of faceting, if I were to describe it, I would also include the word craftsmanship as technique and attention to detail are key to a beautifully finished gemstone.
I especially enjoy producing custom designs out of natural gemstones for unique gifts. Feel free to contact me for a specially cut gemstone or for one-on-one classes.
